Why Us?

We are often asked why we should be retained for a given project and what makes us different than other consultants. Like a diamond in a crowd, we proudly distinguish ourselves by our 4 C’s:

Credentials: RWFE, LLC consists of a group of doctorate-level, licensed mechanical, metallurgical and electrical engineering and jurisprudence professionals, many of whom have reached tenure as university professors and boast resumes with well over 100 scientific publications and invited talks. We have overseen successful completion of more than $18 million in competitive, peer-reviewed federal and state funded research grants, while educating thousands of young engineers and serving as the thesis and dissertation advisors to over 75 master and doctoral graduate students in the areas of mechanical, metallurgical and electrical engineering.

Competence: We are internationally recognized in our areas of expertise and possess considerable consulting, research, and litigation experience as a result of our involvement in hundreds of different projects. As university professors and researchers, we are well-practiced in our areas of expertise and current in scientific and mathematical principles.

Credibility: As well-established and tenured university professors, we are well-paid in our primary jobs and do not rely on “expert witness” work or other consulting projects as our main source of income. This gives added credibility to our testimony in litigation-related matters. Over the past 23+  years, we have developed and taught various academic courses, technical workshops and seminars at all levels of academia and remain active members in multiple professional organizations.

Communication: As seasoned professors, we are skilled in breaking down complex scientific subjects to make them understandable and applicable to your project.  We will help your team make informed decisions throughout the course of your project and help increase productivity.  Should litigation become necessary, our extensive experience in simplifying, explaining, and answering questions related to difficult scientific principles will help you present a case that is scientifically sound, persuasive, and easily understood by a lay jury.
