Dr. Rasty has developed and taught 22 undergraduate and graduate level courses in Failure Analysis, Fracture Mechanics, Materials Science, Design, Metallurgy, Materials Selection and Manufacturing.

Dr. Rasty has 25 years of experience in engineering education, consulting, forensic engineering and expert witness litigation support.

He has produced 60 Journal and Conference Publications, 19 invited talks and lectures, and is the Principal or Co-Principal Investigator of more than $7.4 M in engineering research projects sponsored by federal and state government research entities, and major Hi-Tech industries.
