Travis D. Wells grew up in Rockwall, Texas and graduated from Texas Tech University with his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in mathematics, Summa Cum Laude. After graduating, he attended law school at Texas Tech University School of Law where he served as Treasurer and President for the Intellectual Property Student Association and helped develop a JD/M.Eng dual degree program for law students interested in engineering and the law. He graduated with his Juris Doctor and Master of Engineering Degrees and was also a recipient of the Law and Science Certificate. During law school Mr. Wells worked as a consultant for RWFE, LLC and moved into a full time position with the firm after graduation and completion of the Texas State Bar Exam. Mr. Wells contributes to RWFE a unique perspective with his background in both law and engineering failure analysis and works closely with RWFE associates and clients to make sure that results are both scientifically and legally sound and admissible in the court of law.
