Hossein Ghara, PE

Hossein Ghara is a State Bridge Engineer for the Louisiana Department of Transportation & Development where he oversees a team of more than 80 engineers and engineer technicians. Mr. Ghara has served on numerous committees and boards on a wide variety of subjects including bridge and tunnel security, concrete design, and railing / roadway safety. During his 30+ years with the LDTD, Mr. Ghara has been qualified to testify in several courts as an expert witness on numerous tort liability cases within his areas of expertise.

Mark J. Grimson, Ph.D.

Dr. Mark Grimson possesses over 20-years of experience as a Scanning Electron Microscope Technician during which he has worked as a Quality Assurance and Quality Control Engineer and collaborated on numerous projects with engineers and scientists around the world. He currently serves as a Research Scientists and Imaging Center Manager in the Texas Tech University Department of Biological Sciences where is affiliated with a number of projects. His experiences range across many departments at Texas Tech University including Geology, Anthropology, Physics, Chemistry, Engineering, and others. Dr. Grimson also works with authors and editors to produce illustration for journal covers, books, and magazine articles.  

Brandon Sheehan

Brandon Sheehan contributes to Real World Forensic Engineering a portfolio of expertise through his 28-year experience in manufacturing and computer-aided design. Mr. Sheehan has substantial experience as a machinist and industrial programmer. He spent several years as a Level-4 Technician for the Texas Tech University Departments of Mechanical Engineering and Chemistry where he assisted professors and students with design, manufacture, and testing of scientific apparatus. Mr. Sheehan specializes in machine design and assembly, as well as computer 3-D modeling and  visual design and drafting. Mr. Sheehan also conducts testing and compiles research at the direction of RWFE's engineering staff.

Louis L. Howard

Louis Howard has been actively and continuously engaged in the electrical trade since 1965. He is a Master Electrician in the State of Texas and holds a JE-98 Electrician’s License in New Mexico. For the past 20 years, Mr. Howard has been a self-employed as an electrical contractor where he has performed professional estimating and taught IBEW and IEC apprenticeship programs as a full-time instructor for Texas Career School. He is intimately familiar with the National Electrical Code and assists RWFE personnel with code violations and industry best practices on a variety of projects.

Katy Caraway, MS, CFEI

Forensic Analyst | SEND E-MAIL
Katy Caraway grew up in Carlsbad, New Mexico and received her Bachelor of Science, Magna Cum Laude, in Biomedical Sciences from Texas A&M University in May 2009. After graduating, she attended a Master’s Program in Forensics at Texas Tech University where she served as the Vice-President and Historian of the Forensic Science Society. She interned with the Department of Homeland Security’s Federal Law Enforcement Training Center during her Master’s program in which she learned the various aspects of criminal investigation. She is also a member of the American Academy of Forensic Sciences. Ms. Caraway works as a forensic analyst for RWFE, LLC with a focus in the fire investigation division.

Kayla Limmer

Administrative Assistant | SEND E-MAIL
Kayla Limmer was born and raised in Lubbock where she graduated with honors from Lubbock Christian School in May of 2007. Since high school, Kayla has worked in a variety of office settings including time as an apartment lease manager, inventory manager, and assistant manager in sales and department store settings. Kayla is a few hours from completing her Associate of Arts degree in in Business and plans to pursue her bachelor degree in business administration or a degree in paralegal studies after graduation. Kayla joined the RWFE, LLC team in May of 2011 where she is in charge of the administration side of the company and also serves as the executive's assistant.
